When we are born again from above, the Holy Spirit lives inside of us and gives us new desires and passions. These desires are contrary to our natural flesh, but naturally produce Christ-likeness in us. The true Christian is not someone who strives to do things that look "Christian", but they will inevitably become like Christ.
