True joy is a supernatural gift given by the Holy Spirit as He comes into a Christian's life. This virtue is a powerful testimony to the hope a believer possesses. The challenge believers face is the battle to maintain joy in the midst of a sin cursed world. Ultimately living a life of joy is pleasing to God.
