In the early 20th century, a group of pastors, professors, and theologians contributed about 90 essays to a project known as The Fundamentals. These essays were mailed out all over the country in order to combat modernist theology and defend traditional expressions of Christian doctrine. The guys take a look at the context and history of this project, and then discuss modern fundamentalism and the ways it is (and isn’t) connected to The Fundamentals from the early 1900s.
