The Further Unsound is a 3 piece outfit from Averill Park, NY. The group was formed in 2012 as a studio project and unfolded throughout the last few years as a live incarnation. The current line up is drummer/vocalist Sean Cranston, lead guitarist/vocalist Matt Malone, & rhythm guitarist Aaron Haggerty. The purpose of the music is to bring the listeners through a variety of compositions; some elating and serene, some dark and mysterious, & some that just aim to make you dance. The Further Unsound combines elements of psychedelic rock, progressive rock, classical composition, funk, blues, jazz, & metal.

Coming into the outfit's 3rd year, The Further Unsound has no intention of stopping yet! Keep your ears sharp in 2015 for a new album, new merch, live performances, & hopefully much more!
