1. The Destiny of Mission

2033—2000th Anniversary of Great Commission

And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come
—Matthew 24:14

End Game:
• Great Commission will be completed.
• All nations will worship Him.

After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb.
—Revelation 7:9

3.The Future of Missions

When I turned to see who was speaking to me, I saw seven gold lampstands. 13 And standing in the middle of the lampstands was someone like the Son of Man. He was wearing a long robe with a gold sash across his chest. 14 His head and his hair were white like wool, as white as snow. And his eyes were like flames of fire. 15 His feet were like polished bronze refined in a furnace, and his voice thundered like mighty ocean waves. 16 He held seven stars in his right hand, and a sharp two-edged sword came from his mouth. And his face was like the sun in all its brilliance.
—Revelation 1:12-16

This is the meaning of the mystery of the seven stars you saw in my right hand and the seven gold lampstands: The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands are the seven churches. (v. 20)

This is the message from the one who holds the seven stars in his right hand, the one who walks among the seven gold lampstands (Rev. 2:1)

Discussion Questions:

1. In lieu of the billions of souls in this world that do not know the salvation of Jesus, in what way(s) are you willing to step out of your comfort to participate in missions?
2. What are the opportunities within your sphere of influence you can identify to build relationships with those that do not know Jesus?
3. What are the distractions that are taking you away from having an undivided heart towards Jesus?
