One of the best things about being a restauranteur is the people one meets. That's how Gauri met this week's guest, Ravinder Bhogal, through a casual introduction during a lunch service, which turned into a great friendship.
Ravinder is a renowned and award winning British food writer, TV presenter, journalist, chef and restauranteur. She has her own TV show called 'Ravinder's Kitchen', and restaurant called 'Jikoni' in London. She has also written two cookbooks - Cook in Boots, and the recently launched Jikoni: Proudly Inauthentic Recipes from an Immigrant Kitchen.
With restaurants and bars in Mumbai being given permission this week to open back up after a 6 month lockdown, we thought now would be the perfect time to get the UK perspective on the future of dining, what the lockdown has been like for the hospitality industry there, and what Ravinder thinks is in store for us in the near and far futures. Tune in for a fun and insightful conversation.
