With Halo Infinite Season 5 gameplay in the wild a recent batch of Halo leaks have revealed an uncertain future for Halo as a franchise. Seeing a Halo unreal engine 5 and a brand new campaign is apparently in the works along with Halo Tatanka which is the Halo Battle Royale that will also be in UE5 according to rumors.
But all of this is apparently happening as a pivot away from Halo Infinite, so what does that mean for the current and future seasons in the game? Are they going to pull a Call of Duty and separate the traditional game and the battle royale?
Halo Infinite is a 2021 first-person shooter game developed by 343 Industries and published by Xbox Game Studios. It is the sixth mainline entry in the Halo series, following Halo 5: Guardians.
