The Game Pit

Firstly, apologies for the issues with Ronan's audio. The new set up in a new house did not work well, we will work on that. Secondly this episode has been in the editing suite for a few weeks so apologies if some things sound out of date but that leads us to the most important thing... Thirdly thank you if you stuck around for and are listening to this. We hope to be back more regularly from now on.

As well as our look back to 2023 we also chat about Duel for Middle-Earth, Galaxy Postman, Saltfjord, Atlantis Exodus, Kingdom Legacy, Phoenix New Horizon, Rebirth, Babylon, Bus & Stop, and Capybara Cookie Club.

This time around Ronan brings you six reviews of games which have recently been gracing the darkest holes of the pit. Chewed to the marrow are; 3 Ring Circus, Wild Tiled West, Noobs in Space, Nekojima, River Wild and Phantom Ink.

It was a year so stuffed full of great games that it took us twelve months to consider them properly and finally put together a Top 15 each, extended from our usual Top 10s due to the insane amount of gaming goodness bestowed upon the world last year.

Prior to the Top 15s we talk about Freelancers, World Wonders, Race to the Raft, Sea Dragons and Prey Another Day.

To finish up we run down the BGG Top 20 for 2022.

Much love and happy holidays to you all.

While Sean is busy in Germany running around the halls and scoffing nacken, Ronan is here to deliver their Top 15 most anticipated games for this year's Spiel.

Ronan is hosting a shorter episode this time around as he gives his, mostly, quicker views on a few games played recently.

During the compilation of our Top 100 Games we had some glaring holes in our gaming palmares. In this episode we both pick the one game released each year twixt 2002 and 2011 that we most wish we had played. These games could have been contenders, the could have had class.
