With Morgana Lisi (Winner of Call for Papers)

Morgana is currently a candidate for the PhD in Global History of Empires at the University of Turin, Italy, and for a research fellowship at Luigi Einaudi Foundation also here in Turin.

Her research interests are Latin American History, Global History, Intellectual History, History of Knowledge, Colonialism and Decolonisation.

She has a master degree in Area and Global Studies for International Cooperation (Latin American Studies) at the University of Turin, where she graduated this year with the thesis "Rethinking Nationalism in Late-Colonial Spanish America: Eighteenth-Century Jesuit Narrations of the Chilean Patria" with Prof. Federica Morelli and Prof. Mark Thurner as supervisors.

She also studied abroad for 6 months at the University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain, thanks to the Erasmus program.
