The Gate Chronicles | S1E27 | Inquiry of the Curious
The party's arrival in Lamb's Respite was quite eventful if not a bit down from the weather. The exciting allure of a big city drew the party out late into the night for a quick stop at the Fair Maiden's Tavern. However, Charles Smoot used the opportunity and slipped away. Charging towards the only lead that could potentially unite him with his family, he encountered several seekers who attempted to help the supposedly homeless man as best as they could. But the ever-persistent Charles, unabated by their passive assistance decided to do the only thing he could do. He waited. Now, the party has found themselves signed up for the initiation trial run by the base's local Guardian. And rumor has it, they'll have their work cut out for them.
