One night 16 year old Skylar Neese snuck out to meet with her friends, but she never returned home. At first her family is grateful her best friends want to post flyers and help - but soon everyone becomes suspicious when Skylar's friends can't keep their story straight. Then we examine the crimes committed by notorious upstate New York serial killer Arthur John Shawcross, AKA the Genesee River Killer. Shawcross was supposed to spend his life behind bars, but inexperienced prison guards are duped into releasing him. Unfortunately, Shawcross goes on a bloody rampage - leaving victims' families to question why he was ever let back into society in the first place.
