So the Houston Rockets pulled off a genius new contract for Kevin Durant. The deal is for 2 years at $90M, which is considerably less than the $120M KD could have insisted on receiving. The deal frees up the Rockets to make additional deals and gives the team the security it needed knowing that Durant at least on paper will be a Rocket for the next 3 seasons.
