Join me on this episode as I chat with Grady Lambert - who was running across the country to thank healthcare workers and create a more compassionate and united front.
We recorded this episode on 8/22. Less than a week later Grady was struck by a truck while running.
Grady Lambert was continuing his cross-country run for charity until a truck struck him as he ran in Amarillo, Texas.
Family members said Grady Lambert was struck while he was running on a service road in Texas.
Grady was on a year-long mission to run cross-country for essential workers.
His GoFundMe, originally for his project, will now support his medical costs.

His story : Over the course of the last few years, I've witnessed a decline in compassion for our fellow man and the weakening of the family unit, both of which have been perpetuated by the COVID Pandemic. Due to this, I am inspired to help. I am running across America to support those impacted by the pandemic.
From march until late 2022, I will be running from Cannon Beach, Oregon to Hilton Head, South Carolina. A total of 4,482 miles. It is my mission to promote Compassion for our Fellow Man and our Country.
As we edge into yet another year affected by the pandemic, I can't help but take a look around and see heroes who need help. Healthcare workers, service industry workers, small business owners, and families with kids are a few of the crews that continue to recover from the impact of COVID. With your financial help, my goal is to provide support and encouragement. With each town I run to, I will check in with the local health clinic to volunteer and stop by the community gathering place to visit with people about the needs of the town. In short, I want to help.
