There was once a group of Appalachian settlers who ventured into the wilderness of what’s now Southwest Virginia and found the most beautiful valley, above which was a rugged gorge.

One of the men in the group had a problem with jealousy over a beautiful young woman who had fallen for another one of the settlers, so he decided to solve the problem with treachery that could have cost all in the group their lives, save him and the woman.

It didn’t work out that way. But you’ll have to watch today’s episode of MountainLore on YouTube to see how it ends.
