God has an opinion as to how we live our lives.  One might see this fact as meddlesome or burdensome.  In reality, however, God's gift of guidance is meant to serve as lamp-posts that will draw us into deeper relationship, both with God and also with one another.  The teaching scripture offers for our lives should not be seen by us as Christians as hoops or burdens, but as a source of hope and blessing.  For these things are found only in right relationships.
