Ten years ago, Tisa received a diagnosis of stage four breast cancer. They gave her 2 years to live. She continued to live past the two year mark with the help of various chemotherapy treatments. Nine years later Tisa learned that the cancer had spread to her brain. The doctors put her on hospice. Tisa never gave up on her faith or her will to live. She started chemotherapy/radiation to her brain. Because of the tumors and radiation, Tisa had to learn how to walk again. Through her hard work, she was able to function again and in 2021 she attend her son’s wedding. Tisa's faith, will to live, and positivity are so inspiring.
