Well-meaning Christians will often say, "God will never give you more than you can handle." The problem is that God never said that. Scripture as well as life experience speaks to the fact that God will sometimes allow you to have more than you can handle on your own. This message speaks to why it's time for us to stop saying God won't give you more than you can handle and what we can learn when life dumps more upon us than we can take.
