What makes a good gift? What is that perfect thing you can get the ones you love that they will remember forever? Our topic this week is amazing gifts. Dana tells us the uplifting story of Steve Ferkau and why Kari’s Klimbers Hustle Up the Hancock. Nydia tells us all about the toys that almost killed us. Those presents we begged Santa for came with a warning for a reason. Cindy brings us some listener Christmas stories that will have you in stitches.
For dinner this week, Cindy prepared some gorgeous Cornish hens, with a creamy mushroom risotto and cranberry bacon brussel sprouts. It was a feast right out of a Dickens novel. For dessert, she made us a Christmas cheesecake with homemade cranberry jam. It was a beautiful dessert. Our meal was paired with Alto Livelo Pinot Grigio. A great everyday Pinot Grigio that went well with Cornish hens.
