This phrase was first used by Victor Radio in the 1920’s to sell radios, in 1928 it was used to sell electric appliances, in 1948 by Du Mont to sell home electronics, in 1963 RCA used it to sell color televisions, in 1977 Kodak Cameras used it in their ads, and in 2016 Godiva Chocolate also used it. However, the original “Gift That Keeps on Giving” came from Jesus more than 2,000 years ago! (Rom 5:20b) NKJV “… where sin abounded, grace abounded much more.” God's gift is greater than your sin and it keeps on giving!!!
