Through the gifts we have received by grace through faith in Christ Jesus, we make room for others. None of our resources—time, treasure, or talent—belongs solely to us. We are stewards of every gift God has entrusted to our care.

Christ makes appointments on our calendars. Christ writes checks from our checkbooks. Christ extends our hearts to those in need. His love pulses through our unique personalities so that His compassion, wisdom, and power are revealed through our everyday availability.

He desires to express the kingdom of heaven through us. Therefore, we yield all we possess to Him and allow His love to flow through the gifts that make room for others and bring them into the presence of the King. Yet every act of generosity and every gifting—even miracles—begins with knowing how fully forgiven we are in Christ.
