Judy Cornish is the creator of the DAWN method - and she joins us for a fun and fascinating conversation about how she came into dementia care with no prior experience and developed a way to embrace the strengths and avoid weaknesses of people living with dementia.
Judyโs model leverages the highly developed intuitive skills of people living with dementia and encourage carers and families to communicate in ways that donโt depend on the often-diminishing rational skills, which she explains in quite a bit more detail throughout the episode.
