This week we’re covering Hannie Schaft, a young woman who ended up at the top of Adolf Hitler’s most wanted list due to her work with the Dutch resistance alongside Freddie and Truus Oversteegan. Hannie became known as “The Girl with the Red Hair” and is celebrated by the Dutch for her heroism today, but was once hidden from history due to her connections to communism.
