Linda's career took a significant turn in 1990 when she found herself in Atlanta, diving headfirst into the insurance industry. After a successful stint as an Ocean Marine Underwriter with a reinsurance corporation, she returned to Sleepy Hollow, NY, to rejoin her father's agency. Here, she played a pivotal role in technology upgrades, brand building, and expanding the agency's visibility.
In 2009, the world of social media captivated Linda. Her adeptness at leveraging modern tools with traditional selling and networking techniques led to an astounding 800% increase in revenue.
Aurora Consulting: A New Chapter
2017 marked a new chapter in Linda's life. She and her partner Trevor launched Aurora Consulting, a Commercial Financing Brokerage. Their mission was to assist entrepreneurs in expanding their ventures with unique and cost-effective business financing solutions.
However, the pandemic brought unforeseen challenges. But as true entrepreneurs, Linda and Trevor pivoted. They embarked on a mission to help business owners understand the intricacies of business financing and the SBA's Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL). Their efforts bore fruit, helping secure over $70 million in disaster funding for small businesses.
