Ryan Claytor is the Comic Art and Graphic Novel Minor Coordinator and Assistant Professor at Michigan State University, where he teaches Comics Studio courses and spearheads the development of the interdisciplinary Comics Minor between the Art and English departments. Claytor's achievements include six Small Press and Alternative Comics Expo Prizes and two Ringo Comic Industry Award nominations. As a creator, Claytor is known for his award-winning, self-published, non-fiction comics, including his autobiographical series "And Then One Day," as well as his collaborative work on "Coin-Op Carnival: Electrifying Tales of Mechanical Contraptions" and "A Hunter's Tale." Claytor's international client list includes companies such as Moleskine, Stern Pinball, Verizon Wireless, and Mr. Jones Watches. Other artistic pursuits include designing neon signs, watches, fancy pancakes, and cross-stitching!
