The Global NCD Alliance Forum with Dr Sawsan Al Madhi (09.02.2020)
Friends of Cancer Patients is hosting the third edition of the Global Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) Alliance Forum.
This year’s Forum is being organised under the theme ‘Bridging the Gap’, with a view to accelerating global efforts to translate political commitments into action and implementation at the national and local levels.
The forum is a unique opportunity to hear from 400 healthcare experts, policymakers, specialists and other key stakeholders along with 40 speakers from 80 countries across six continents at three plenary sessions and 18 workshops, who will be shining a light on how major gaps in the global NCD response can be bridged by identifying innovative, bold and practical action steps to scale up prevention and treatment of NCDs, reduce mortality rates, and thereby unblock the barriers to good health.
