Moving through Jesus’ prayer alongside passages such as Ephesians 1:5–6, John 6:37–44, Romans 12:2, Philippians 1:29, and 1 Peter 2:21 and 5:10, the sermon calls the church to see the cross as the supreme revelation of God’s character, trust Christ to preserve His people, be transformed by His Word, love the family of God, and endure suffering in hope of the glory still to come.
