The Glowing Dial with Big John and Steve started in 1996 as a fill-in show on Yesterday USA Radio. It eventually joined the YUSA line-up and was a fixture of the station for 5 years. The show then left YUSA on good terms due to Big John's health problems. In 2003, the show came back and was heard on The Glowing Dial Page as well as Stay Tuned America and Jerry Haendiges' Old Tyme Radio Network. Big John's health problems again forced another hiatus which is still currently in effect. Big John has plans to revive the show once again but no certain date has been announced. Listeners are invited to enjoy these archived episodes. Remember, these episodes span many years and some information given out is no longer in effect.
