What if the story has been mis-represented? This changes everything...

In trying to understand who we are as humans, we have to take some time to explore the various creation myths around the world. Traditionally, the Bible teaches that Adam and Eve were tempted by the Serpent in the Garden of Eden. They ate from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, and were cast out of the Garden. But there are some inconsistencies within this story that we explore in this podcast.

According to the Gnostic texts, The Nature of the Rulers, also known as The Hypostasis of the Archons, Adam and Eve were created by the Archons. They were placed in a state of ignorance, and it was the Serpent who liberated them through leading them to eat of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil.

Before we dismiss a story like this, it's interesting to note that these texts are over 1,500 years old and have not been altered over history since they weren't discovered until 1945. It is also believed that these texts were written and hidden at a time when Gnostics were being persecuted and killed for their beliefs. Again, we have to ask why... The world is not what it seems, and understanding the mystery behind these stories may shed some light into the mystery that is humanity...
