How is your memory?  Have you ever forgotten something important?   We are all forgetful people and throughout the entirety of Scripture we see God continually reminding His people of things they have forgotten.   So, when we say we don't know God, maybe it's more that we have forgotten who God is and that He is the greatest reminder of all time and the greatest forgetter as well.
