Big Idea: Fret Not Because The Lord Forsakes You Not

Fret not:

1) Don’t be troubled; trust in the Lord (v. 1-3)

Trust confidently in:
1) God’s enduring promises (v. 2; 6)
2) God’s surpassing power (v. 12-13; 22)
3) God’s everlasting protection (v. 39-40)
4) God’s sovereign plan (v. 28-29)

2) Don’t despair; delight in the Lord (v. 4-6)

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.”

3) Don’t compare; commit your way to the Lord (v. 5-6; 16)

4) Don’t worry: wait on the Lord (v. 34)
