In this sermon by Elder Candidate Jerry Austin, we take a look at the story of the golden calf found in Exodus 32. Jerry brings one of the messages from "The Journey" which is part of the care and counseling ministry at Harbor Church. From this text, we see that, just like the people of Israel after they had been led out of captivity, we readily choose to worship idols rather that the one true God. We all need to look inward at our hearts to identify the idols in our lives that we might repent of our idolatry and be restored to right relationship with God through the sacrifice of Jesus.
