On a hot day a group of rabbis were attempting a treacherous journey, and with no food and little water they found themselves starving to death. They decided it was time to get some food, and would begin to gather mud and water, shaping a calf like creature out of it. After a chant this creature would come to life, giving the rabbis a full meal the night they were going to starving to death. This creature would later be referred to as the Golem.
