How important is a father? What role does a dad play in the everyday life of a child? When a child grows up, what is the task of a dad then? Don’t forget that a dad is someone’s child as well. The task of being a father can feel daunting and taxing, but the Bible has numerous passages that will point a father in the right direction. This week, Pastor Butler continues our study of Ephesians by speaking to the role of God as Father and how earthly fathers can model themselves after Him. Normally our Children’s ministry has sunday school (9:00) and Worship (10:30) in the Children’s Building and we have Sunday School (9:00/10:30) across the campus for Students and Adults. However, this week, we will be having a special Father’s Day as we worship together across the campus at 9:00 and then at 10:30 we will watch the movie “Courageous” in our sanctuaries (main building/South Building) and Palace of our Children’s Center.
