When Jesus introduced his brand-new followers to the ways of God’s Kingdom, he let them know that everyone is invited to enter, but it would not leave them unaffected. Jesus came so that everyone who encountered him would become part of a radical new countercultural community within the community. A community that has a disproportionate impact on the world around us.
