We only get one life and it is a gift to be enjoyed. But how do we really enjoy life? What exactly does a “good life” look like? Jesus said he came that we might have life to the fullest. That sounds good, right? The problem is Jesus’ definition of what a full or good life looks like is opposite of what our culture promotes. Material possessions, influence, status, platforms, and accomplishments are all markers of what we call success. And this kind of success can lead to good experiences in our life. It just doesn’t last or provide the fulfillment we imagine.

In this series, we will look at the “good life” Jesus promised if we follow him. He said, we would be filled if we had a hunger and thirst for the right things. And he helps us reimagine our identity in him and not in what we possess or accomplish. Each week we will unpack a different promise and how we can experience the “good” God intends for us in this life.
