As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints we are led to believe our Temple Recommend is our ticket to salvation, based on our works, we will receive our reward. It is a deceptive sense of security. Christ tells us salvation comes through him, not a Church and certainly not through our works. Ask yourself, do you pass the Good Person Test? You may think you do, but you are only deceiving yourself. Would any leader, perhaps the founder Joseph Smith pass the Good Person Test? Confess your sins to God is the start, repentance, to turn away from the old sinner and follow Christ only, that is the only way to Salvation and to know you are a Good Person and will return to be with your Father in Heaven. So listen in, see if you are the Good Person you think you are.
