It's been nearly three months since Jesus arrived in Jerusalem. The Jews have tried (unsuccessfully) to arrest Jesus twice because of His lofty claims about Himself (per John 8:58). As John 10 beings, Jesus is walking in the Temple in Solomon's colonnade at the time of the Feast of Dedication (Hanukkah). The Jews surround Him and ask, "How long will you keep us in suspense? If you are the Christ, tell us plainly." At the words of Jesus's final reply, the Jews are ready to stone Him once again.
Listen and discover why the Jews did not accept Jesus as their good shepherd.
