Andrew Lamb brings revelation to the goodness of God. We are reminded that His goodness is completely incomprehensible. The very nature of God is founded in the overwhelming offensiveness of the Gospel; the glory of His son Jesus who died for us! If we fail to see the Old Testament through the lens of Jesus, recognizing that the old covenant posed a question to which Jesus was the answer, we run the risk of building entire theologies without a need for Jesus Himself. Our lives, our behaviour, even our prayer will reveal how much we truly know his goodness. What an amazing revelation!
