It presents Servant of God, the Son of Man, unleashing the Kingdom of God among men through a combination of both power and weakness, confronting and being opposed, conquering and suffering dying and rising. And what is Mark's the goal of presenting this portrait of 'Jesus Christ, the Son of God' (1:1)? That we may all be amazed, humbled, saved, and transformed into a new community of servants of the LORD; Disciples after the likeness of the Savior Jesus Christ.
