The Apostle Paul makes a bold claim that the Gospel belonged to him in Romans 2:16. Was Paul trying to assert himself as the sole leader of the True Faith once delivered? Was he just being rude and arrogant? Or could he simply have been saying to his readers something entirely different about the gospel that he preached and taught?
