At the New Life Conference, Thabiti Anyabwile preached on Genesis 11:27-12:3 to show that 1) the life of faith is a going life 2) the life of faith is a great life and 3) the life of faith is a guarded life. Thabiti reminds us that Christ's call to "go" from Matt. 28 recapitulates God's call for Abraham to "go." He says, "the besetting sin of the Western church is a complacent staying." Sometimes in the Christian community, even though we are people of faith, we sometimes aren't people of hope. It is true that God is redeeming people from every tongue, language, and tribe, but God is also redeeming people from every corner and every block. Kori's incredible story reminds us of these truths. C'mon up and meet Kori Porter, who serves as an Associate Campus Minister at University Reformed Church in East Lansing, MI. Kori begins by saying how surprising it is that she's in campus ministry, much less walking with the Lord at all. Born in the south, Kori discusses the faithfulness of her grandmother and the meek example she set. A daughter of the black church, and now an "adopted" daughter of Kristie, Kori shares about what the Lord has done in her life.

Kristie contributed to this volume, which focuses on more than pro-life issues. Trillia seeks to minister to all types of women—young, elderly, and everyone in between.
