At the New Life Conference, Anthony Carter preached on Genesis 2:4-25 to show that creation is 1) God's power displayed, 2) God's beauty portrayed, and 3) Creation is intelligently made. Stressing the already-and-not-yet, Carter spoke of how in Christ work, worship, and relationships are redeemed and will be redeemed. God gave Adam work, a will, and a wife for his glory. On work, Carter said, "preachers like to make much of themselves because they make much of preaching, but any work is worship to God, who gives each man a "calling." C'mon up and meet Kori Porter, who serves as an Associate Campus Minister at University Reformed Church in East Lansing, MI. Kori begins by saying how surprising it is that she's in campus ministry, much less walking with the Lord at all. Born in the south, Kori discusses the faithfulness of her grandmother and the meek example she set. A daughter of the black church, and now an "adopted" daughter of Kristie, Kori shares about what the Lord has done in her life.

Kristie contributed to this volume, which focuses on more than pro-life issues. Trillia seeks to minister to all types of women—young, elderly, and everyone in between.
