There are times when it seems that this world has us surrounded by bad news. What makes the bad news even worse is how the people involved are affected. To those embroiled in this bad news, it is much more than just news. It is a reality that they must actually live with and endure.
God has broken into our crazy world. Jesus, entered this world to bring salvation. The gospel (good news) is God's salvation. There is no one on earth who does not need God's free gift of salvation. Troubles may still exist, but now there is a remedy for the real problem. The requirement for receiving God's solution is to confess our sin and our need to God. Jesus put it this way: "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners" (Mark 2:17).
