This series is a verse-by-verse expository series on the Gospel of Luke. Everyone is looking for the "one thing" that they need to do to find life, peace, and fulfillment. At the end of Luke 10, Jesus goes to Mary and Martha's house. Martha gets busy serving, but Mary sits at Jesus' feet to listen to Him. Jesus praises Mary by saying she did the "one thing" that was necessary. In Luke 18, Jesus tells the rich young ruler that he lacks just "one thing". In Philippians 3, the Apostle Paul says that he does just "one thing". In Revelation 2, Jesus tells the church of Ephesus that they're missing just "one thing". So...what is this one thing?
