Jesus spoke about the true nature of worship. He said, "God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth" (John 4:26). If we are to worship God, we must adhere to his truth. In order to know his truth, we must also have the Holy Spirit. This is a miracle.
The gospel saves and the gospel teaches. We are led into true worship. Understanding the truth about Jesus is part of our worship. Jesus asked his disciples a question: "Who do you say that I am?" (Matthew 16:15). How anyone answers that question is the central issue. Peter answered the question this way: "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God." Jesus then told Peter that this insight was not the result of human understanding, but a revelation by God himself. May this miraculous revelation spread across our land. This would be a miracle.
