Tensions are high. The spirit of offense is high. Despite that I feel called to remind those that are in Christ to remain and abide there in it's simplicity. I'm reminding those in Christ to turn away from the flesh's call to respond to someone else's declaration of self righteousness in the flesh and that you go and join that pursuit of chasing the highs and lows that come outside of knowing the full assurance and peace we have in the truth: the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ, and simply believing that.
Don't make this current event be the reason  you "pick up your cross" and start  beating the sheep and deluding yourself that your condition in life is in anyway a reflection on how God sees you, or that He expects anything of you other than your faith, no matter how small. 
Stay strong in the Lord, in the truth, in the gospel.
