The gospel is "good news", not "good advice". It is founded in the finished work of Jesus Christ. There is nothing that can ever be added to the gospel. In order to live out the transformational power of the gospel, it must be rooted in grace and truth. To have Gospel Doctrine without Gospel Culture is hypocrisy. To have Gospel Culture without Gospel Doctrine is fragility. To have Gospel Doctrine AND Gospel Culture is to have POWER! Biblical hope is a rock-solid conviction of faith in the future promises of God, a steadfast anchor in an unchangeable and immovable Almighty God. What is your source of life and hope? Is it the Word of God? What is your greatest hope? Is it to see King Jesus face to face in all of His glory? So how do you create a culture of hope? By remembering to preach the truth of gospel to yourself daily AND by reminding others of His promises and helping them connect the transformational power of the gospel to their everyday life.
