In our world, people are often assigned value based on what they can do. In fact, it can feel like the only things that matter are how smart, productive, or beautiful we are. But this is not how God looks at us. Ps. Ike Shepardson encourages us this week by explaining that the good news isn’t about what we can do to make our lives better, it is about what Jesus has already done. And what Jesus has already done means that we are loved and accepted and valued by God.
