It is true that we may suffer in many ways in the life we live. We all do. The difference is that, if we have given our lives to Christ, we now have a new way of viewing our lives. As we continue to explore the depth of the Gospel we find that we carry with us a glory that cannot be measured by any natural measuring instrument calibrated by this world's standards.

Paul speaks of it this way, "Our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all" (2 Corinthians 4:17). In the Gospel we have been gifted with a new way to view our lives. This new view, or vision, carries with it power and motivation from the very heart of God. We can now be used of God to reach out in service to those around us.
