In Episode 19 of the Church of the Lost Sheep podcast, Noah delivers a raw and prophetic message drawing from 1 Kings 18–19 and Gospel of Luke 16.
This episode explores the confrontation between Elijah and the prophets of Baal, the testing of faith under pressure, and the reality of a preserved remnant. Noah breaks down the boldness of Elijah—speaking in faith before the rain came—and the struggle of trusting God when everything is on the line.
The message shifts into a warning through the Parable of the Unjust Steward, calling out spiritual compromise, misplaced trust in worldly systems, and the consequences of silence in the face of truth.
Themes include:
* Faith under pressure and prophetic obedience
* The 7,000 remnant who have not bowed
* Spiritual deception and false shepherds
* Stewardship, accountability, and judgment
* “The Grapes of Wrath” and the coming harvest
A sobering call to discernment, repentance, and bold alignment with truth through Jesus Christ.
Episode 19 – The Grapes of Wrath
Hey guys, it’s Noah.
Let’s open in prayer.
🙏 Opening Prayer
Heavenly Father, we come before You.We thank You, we praise You, we bless You.
Anoint this word. Get me out of the way.I crucify the flesh and choose to walk in the Spirit.
Give us insight, favor, and understanding.Break every box we try to put You in—myself included.
Let those who have ears hear.In the mighty name of Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.
🔥 Elijah, Mount Carmel, and the Remnant
We’re going into 1 Kings 18–19.
This is Elijah on Mount Carmel—standing alone against Ahab, Jezebel, and the prophets of Baal.
And reading this… I know exactly what that feels like.
Because that’s what we’re dealing with today.
Not a handful of false prophets—but a system full of them.
Yet God says something powerful:
He has preserved 7,000 who have not bowed.
There is always a remnant.
🌧️ The Sound of Rain Before It Comes
Elijah tells Ahab:
“I hear the sound of an abundance of rain.”
But there’s no rain yet.
He speaks it first—in faith.
Then he goes up, bows down, and prays… again and again… seven times.
That hit me hard.
Because sometimes you speak boldly…and then you hit your knees like:
“God… don’t let me down.”
That’s real faith.
All in. No backup plan.
⚔️ Faith Under Pressure
God will let you stand there—back against the wall—with nothing but Him.
If He did it with Elijah…He’ll do it with us.
📖 Luke 16 – The Unjust Steward
Then we move to Gospel of Luke 16.
This parable is sharp.
A steward is about to lose everything…so he starts making moves—cutting deals, repositioning himself.
And the takeaway?
Even the world understands urgency better than the people of God sometimes.
This is about stewardship.
About what you do when your time is running out.
⚠️ A Warning to the Watchers
There are people who knew.
People who saw what was coming.People who were positioned to speak.
And they didn’t.
They chose:
* comfort over truth
* money over obedience
* silence over warning
That’s not a small thing.
🧱 The Real Issue
This isn’t about missing something.
This is about:
* knowing
* and not saying
That’s the difference between:
* a shepherd
* and a hireling
🍇 The Grapes of Wrath
There’s a harvest coming.
And Scripture talks about it like this:
* Grapes ripening
* Pressure building
* Judgment being poured out
Not randomly—but when things reach fullness.
🧭 Final Call
This episode is a call to:
* Check your alignment
* Examine your stewardship
* Speak truth while there is still time
Because once the harvest begins—there’s no rewinding it.
✝️ Closing
To those standing firm:
Stay grounded. Stay faithful. Stay in Christ.
I pray protection over you, your homes, and your families.
Shabbat Shalom.
